This Privacy Policy applies to the TAUBOX website, TauBox devices, TauAI features, pre-sales and support interactions, and related partner or integration workflows. If a feature is covered by a separate agreement, enterprise order form, or third-party terms, that document may add more specific rules for that scenario.

TauAI 的核心定位是“本地优先”。在启用本地模式时，语义搜索、转录、摘要、文档问答、媒体分类和模型推理应当在 您的 TauBox 设备上完成。TAUBOX 不应因这些本地任务而自动接收您的原始文件、推理结果或知识库内容。

只有在您明确启用云端模型、第三方 API、远程运维、主动提交诊断包或选择与外部系统同步时，相关数据才可能离开本地 设备。

TauAI is designed around a local-first operating model. When local mode is enabled, semantic search, transcription, summarization, question answering, media classification, and model inference are intended to run on the user’s TauBox device. TAUBOX should not automatically receive the underlying files, outputs, or private knowledge-base contents generated by those local workflows.

Data may leave the device only when the user explicitly enables a cloud model, a third-party API, a remote support workflow, a diagnostic upload, or another external integration.

We retain contact records, support tickets, and commercial records for as long as reasonably needed for the purposes above. Data generated locally on a TauBox device is generally under the user’s own control. Users may remove local files, indexes, caches, transcripts, and outputs through TauBox or internal operational policies. For support materials submitted directly to us, deletion requests may be honored unless legal, accounting, or security obligations require retention.
